Noah’s Ark Association
The purpose of the Noah’s Ark Association is to tell people about the way of salvation, strengthen the weak and lift up those who are bowed down, and promote the knowledge of God’s Word - according to the Bible. Our work includes both spiritual and humanitarian work. We are reaching especially the Roma in Romania.
The main function of the Noah’s Ark Association is to spread the Gospel e.g. to tell the Good News about Jesus:
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. (Joh. 3:16,17.)
We try to follow the Great Commission of Jesus:
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. (Mat. 28: 19,20.)
Noah’s Ark Association carries out the humanitarian aid by collecting e.g. clothes, shoes and soft toys. They are taken to the most needy in Europe, especially to the Roma in Romania.
Bible speaks about helping the poor e.g. at following points:
All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do (Gal. 2: 10).
But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind (Luk. 14:13).
For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick aind in prison and you did not look after me.’ ”They also will answer, ’Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ ”He will reply, ’I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’ (Mat. 25: 42–45.)
